Last month RetroMotion was contracted to assemble a crew to shoot a Geico promotion for the Game Show Network. The stars of the commercial were from GSN’s new reality show “Family Trade” about a GMC and Ford dealership in Middlebury, Vermont; G-Stone Motors who boast “We’ll take anything in trade”. Gardner Stone the owner will trade you a new car for sheep, pigs, toys, cheese, etc… His son and daughter who also work for the dealership don’t see eye to eye on some of the trades.

We saw a sneak peak of the show that airs March 12 on GSN, and it’s a riot. Gardner is a crack up! RetroMotion is proud to have contributed in a small way to the network by pulling together a talented all Vermont crew for the Gecio commercial shot at G-Stone.

FAMILY TRADE is produced by Eli Frankel’s Rogue Atlas Productions in association with Lionsgate, with Frankel as Executive Producer.

March 9, 2013 was a long long day. We started at the top of the mountain to get people coming off the lift, and ended the night filming people at a bonfire. Working with Vaccaro Productions we spent the beautiful weekend getting a host of amazing shots for a promotional piece for the Hermitage Club. We were warmly greeted by our Director and Producer Evelyn Vaccaro, and started shooting right away. The people from the Hermitage treated us like kings! The food and drink were amazing (try the venison burger), and the atmosphere was addicting.

We will be spending the next several days editing the footage down to a :60 and :30 second spots.

The campaign was a success and Peter Miller can now pay the printer.
